For anyone using Hand or Vehicle Mounted Winches for work purposes. Suitable for 4 x 4 vehicle recovery or timber extraction.
The course
1 day for all operators
Practical assessment with short questions at end of course
Also includes vehicle recovery and manoeuvring.

Certificate
Lynher Certificate of Attendance OR Lantra awards certificate.
Refresher training is recommended approximately every three years
What should you bring to the course?
Steel toe-capped work boots, loose non-snag work overalls, Hi-visibility vest or jacket, Strong Work Gloves, Chainsaw Helmet or similar
For vehicle mounted machines, attendees must hold the relevant vehicle certification
! Please note: All trainees must be over 18 years of age and in good health.
Persons with certain ailments or on certain medication may not be able to take part in the practical sessions
