Course Outline
1-day course.
• Covers history, function and wildlife benefits of hedgerows
• Hedgerow creation and aftercare
• Safety care and maintenance of hand tools
• Basic hedge maintenance and hedge laying
What should you bring to the course?
Strong working gloves, steel toe capped work boots, overalls, waterproofs
Tools: bill hook, bow saw or silky saw, loppers
Tools can be provided or you can bring your own. Please confirm when booking your place.

Come and join us at our next ‘open course’ – please contact us for details or check our website for dates and prices. All trainees must be over 16 years of age. Persons with certain ailments or on certain medication may not be able to take part in the practical sessions.
