Pesticides PA1 Refresher
Who is the course for?
It is recommended that anyone whose Pesticides training is more than 5 years old should undergo refresher training or anyone whose change of method or application or substances used or any change of major working practice should also undertake refresher training.

1 day training - no assessment required
The course covers:
A refresher on PA1 to include:
Introduction & aims
Approved Code of Practice
Storage, mixing & safe use
COSHH & risk assessments
Hazard awareness
Safe disposal, record keeping
Certificate
Certificate of Attendance, no assessment is needed.

All trainees must be over 16 years of age, in good health and with reasonable literacy & numeracy skills. Computer literacy requirements are not high and there will be assistance on hand if required however, if you think you may require assistance with either the written or computer tests you must notify the assessment centre at the time of booking. Persons with certain ailments or on certain medication may not be able to take part in the practical sessions
