Medium Trees – What you should bring to the course
Full Personal Protective Equipment:
• Chainsaw helmet (with mesh visor & ear defenders)
• Chainsaw gloves,
• Steel toe-capped chainsaw work boots,
• Chainsaw trousers (Type C)
• Chainsaw in good working order, with manual ((Maximum Recommended Guide Bar Length 15”)
• Tool kit to include sharpening equipment,
• knock-in vice,
• Depth gauge,
• Raker,
• Plug spanner & screwdrivers.
• Fuel & Chain Oil. Felling Lever/Breaker Bar,
• Plastic Wedges
• Hand winch – tested
• Certificated Strops – tested and certificated
• Shackles – tested and certificated
• High Lift Wedges
• Sledge Hammer
• Personal First Aid Kit (must include large wound dressing). 2 Passport Photos
Please bring packed lunch and drinks for each day
