Confirmation
Course bookings must be confirmed by payment as requested. Bookings are taken on a “first come first served basis”.
Payment
Full payment is due at time of booking. Cheques should be payable to “Lynher Training”. Credit or Debit card payments may incur charges to cover commission or handling. Purchase orders accepted by prior arrangement.
Cancellations and Postponements
Deposits are refundable up to 30 days prior to the course, If less than 30 days notice is given of cancellation or postponement, then charges are payable at the following rates:
30 days or more - no-charge
29 days to 14 days notice - 30% of total charge
13 days to 7 days notice - 50% of total charge
less than 7 days notice - Payment in full
(All deposits will automatically be credited against these charges.)
All invoices must be paid in full within 14 days of the invoice date; otherwise interest charges will be accrued at the rate of 8% per month on the outstanding balance. Invoice queries must be notified within 7 days of the invoice date.
Certificates and documentation relating to the course shall remain the property of Lynher Training until accounts have been settled in full. External assessments will not be applied for until accounts have been settled in full.
Group Bookings
When fewer than the agreed number of candidates attend a course, payment will be due for the number originally booked. Any reduction in numbers attending will result in cancellation charges being made according to the above scale.
Funded Courses
In the event of non-attandance on courses subject to funding, Lynher Training reserves the right to charge the non-funded price. All funding is based on attendance, so cancellation or non-attendance charges must be applied at non-funded prices.
Hire Charges
Equipment hired for use on courses is the responsibility of the hirer. In the event of any damage or loss, the hirer will be responsible for the first £100. If damage or loss is found to be attributable to negligence, then the hirer may be requested for payment of the full replacement value.
Training
Lynher Training cannot guarantee to provide a specific instructor or venue. In the event that a previously named instructor or venue is unavailable for any reason, Lynher Training reserves the right to substitute alternative instructors or venues as necessary.
In certain situations where course material is delayed, this will be forwarded to attendees as soon as is practical .
If for any reason attendees wish to comment about the course, this must be done either during or as soon as is practical after the course on the form provided.
Any attendee needing additional help with any part of a course should inform Lynher Training before the course, or in certain circumstances, as soon as possible following the commencement of the course.
Lynher Training accept no responsibility for alterations to details brought about by circumstances beyond our control. Every effort will be made to ensure that details are correct at the time of printing and in the event of any unforeseen circumstances arising either prior to, or during a course, then alternative arrangements will be made.
