About Lynher Training
Specialists in the delivery of courses in Chainsaw, Forestry (agriculture and arboriculture), Vehicles and Machinery, Plant, Workshop, Rural Skills, and Health and Safety including First Aid, throughout Southwest England.
Lynher Training has been running courses on sites for clients throughout the Southwest region or by special arrangement in other locations for over 20 years. We are a UK Registered Training Provider (UKPRN Registration Number: 10019411), and are on the Lantra Awards Professional Register of Training Providers. Lynher Training has achieved the “Matrix” standard for Initial Advice & Guidance. We are also in partnership with Cornwall College and the Duchy College.
We are able to deliver courses for assessments with the following awarding bodies:
• Lantra Awards
• National Proficiency Tests Council (City & Guilds NPTC)
• Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS) – also the Level 2NVQ in Plant & Machinery Operations
• Chartered Institute of Environment Health (CIEH)
• International Powered Access Federation (IPAF)
• Royal Yachting Association - First Aid (RYA)
Where assessments are not required we will issue a certificate of attendance. Most of our courses are suitable as `Accreditation of Prior Learning` for NVQ or QCF awards. Specialist training can also be arranged.
Lynher Training offers open courses for individuals who want to train in our local area, if you have a group then a discount may be applied – please contact us for further details.
Courses are run from one of our pre-selected venues or on your own site if your facilities are suitable.
